May 6, 2023 Update

SLR has been conducting additional drilling investigations at Lhtako Gas & Convenience Store and on adjacent lands since April 25, 2023.

Soil, groundwater, and soil vapour samples are being collected as part of the investigations. Field observations and results of the investigations are being shared at regular coordination meetings with the BC Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy, Northern Health, First Nations Health Authority, and Indigenous Services Canada.

SLR has also been conducting additional tap water and indoor air sampling in the area of notification based on the results of the initial testing. General results for the area of notification can be found on the FAQ page
