June 24, 2023 Update

SLR is contacting property owners and/or occupants at the properties within the area of notification (see map in FAQs page) to schedule tap water sampling for the end of June. The latest information on tap water and indoor air sampling results is discussed on the FAQ page (Questions 10 and 12) of the website.

Findings from the soil, groundwater, and soil vapour sampling conducted in April-May 2023 are being shared with the BC Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy, Northern Health, First Nations Health Authority, and Indigenous Services Canada. A brief overview of these findings is provided on the FAQ page (Question 14).
