Tap Water Sampling Update

Tap water sampling was completed at all accessible properties within the Area of Notification between June 27 and 29, 2023 (the Area of Notification is depicted on the FAQ page). Additional tap water samples were collected from select properties in the Area of Notification between July 12 and July 28, 2023. As of August 16, 2023, tap water sampling results have not identified any additional properties in the Area of Notification with concentrations of gasoline-related parameters above provincial and Health Canada drinking water criteria. This means that the number of properties in the Area of Notification with affected tap water remains at five. Tap water concentrations at all but three properties were below laboratory detection limits. The detectable concentrations at the remaining three properties were below provincial and Health Canada drinking water criteria.

Additional tap water samples were collected from select properties on August 14, 2023, and will be reported in a future update.
